I just wanted to share a pastel I just finished of our two cats. Aren't they cute!

Aaarggh! I'm a dog person http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Seriously, we had a Siamese male cat that would hug our younger, smaller Burmese female. Even when the Burmese tried to get up, the Siamese would hug - even harder! Your painting reminded us of that pair.

Dee, This is very good. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I really like the way you did the background and the cats textures of their fur. I also like the colours on both cats. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/eek.gif

They remind me of the two cats we used to have! They would occasionally cuddle up like that and it was so cute. They were both boys, but the black one we had was older and didn't like the other when we brought it home at first! It would go for the jugular when we weren't lookin!!!! But eventually he grew to tolerate him, and would "allow" the other to cuddle up to him.

Great job!
