I'm sure one or two of you have noticed I've been rather absent of late -- I've been trying to get the house in order for some guests we are expecting at the end of this month and in April.

I'll be awol for a few more days, then I should be back and posting more.

Hugs!

Roan, it was so nice to meet you in the cafe last night. Take care of yourself and enjoy your company!

Thanks Ruth! It was nice to meet you as well http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I've decided that life is too short to agonize over guests (means that the first round of guests are guys and really care diddly squat if my carpet has spills on it :P) and am going to pace myself out rather than wear myself out http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

So, I'm back. I did enjoy myself in the chat room and will probably drop in more often. It was fun -- especially teasing Darrell http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hope I see you there, Ruth!

Hi Roan,

No problem, as a matter of fact I'll be out from April 18th through May 2nd...be in Tuscany (never thought I'd ever go there.) We'll just cover for each other when away.

You have especially good reason...no better reason than that http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Done and done, Diane!

My mother-in-law will be visiting while you are in Tuscany, but that's not a problem 'cause I usually hide in my studio when she's here anyhow http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Heh, not because I'm avoiding her, but because she wants to spend time with her son and granddaughter and I prefer to stay out of the way. She doesn't mind, so long as I'm painting. She loves my artwork :P

Oh! Diane, before I forget, dear animal and Sandi inticed members of the Equine Art Guild to join us at WC. Most of them are posting in the Animal & Wildlife Forum. The equines, dogs and other animals these people do are EXQUISITE!

Thought you might want to know and/or drop in and see their work.

I'm estatic, as you can tell http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hugs!
