LOL... trust YOU, JT, to find the unusual in a normally humdrum day ...
I thought it was a bike tire ... isn't that what Tom's is? You're painting
the same subject but not the same reference? I think I'm confused ...

Jo, you're absolutely right........not confused at all ..... we name a subject but chose/use our own reference photos or maybe even paint from actual objects !! This one was 'wheel' :)

JT, I am very happy to say I've never had to change one of these!

I KNEW that's what it was!!! Don't forget, I was born and raised on the farm!!!

International Harvester sold off their Farm Division to Case... Hence, the name Case International... I still have some of the old International Harvester memorabelia... The company I just retired from... International Truck and Engine... formerly Navistar... formerly... International Harvester!!!

Thanks for the answer to the puzzle! What great shots. Love your photo manips and the resulting painting. I think it is one of your most inspired and beautifully painted images yet!

Now I get the challenge and why your image and Tom's looked so very different. Even I knew a bicycle didn't have huge lug nuts like the ones in your painting.
