Gotta love the skulls....Digging deep...it is amazing what we all can come up with....Mine is a mixed media combo....a moretti bicone metalized with gaffer, set in a bed of felt and enhanced with silver, rhinestones, wire, small pink cubes and if that wasnt enough it is surrounded with annodized squigs and dotted moretti, all on a magnetic cable wire. A lot going on but easy to wear....very light http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/18-Oct-2005/23816-IMG_0202.JPG .....A wildwoman original......Have a great Tuesday.....

Good morning all! I have been checking the Show & Tells daily for months just to oogle beads. I have made a total of 6 beads so far-tee-hee...I was wondering can you please tell me the technique (this is directed to those like Koregon and KYBeadmaker) of how to get the floral petals to flowers the different colors? I got to make one stringer in the 4 hour class I went to :p but my guess is that it is some combining of colors and then pulling into a stringer...or is it frit...? Do you dot different colors on a stringer, encase it..just the little dabs of different color...very beautiful. Your work is beautiful and I love the florals the best (someday I hope to own a set of beads by both the above named artists..)...but I sure would love to know how to get those multi-colored petals of flowers...BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have a HH torch and I've bought lots of glass and even have about 10 different frits (none used yet)...want to get someday into enamels too...what an awesome form of art...well thanks for any insight and please know that I am enjoying my daily bead "fix" on these show and tells. Have an awesome day! Petie S. Bravo!

Sounds like you've already given this a lot of thought. You might want to try posting your question in it's own thread in the technical forum. Someone who knows the answer is more likely to see it there and respond.

Mr. Smiley - those beads are magnificent. Any suggestions on how to bring out the purples in boro? I've never even come close. Thanks.
