This series of flowers is absolutely fantastic. How many are you doing in total, and when will you show them all at once?

They're all gorgeous and I'm dying to see them all together.
Who could choose? I'd like them all on my wall.

These are very cool!

What do you do with them all once they're done? Hang them on your wall?

You know, I'm fairly certain you said only last night that you're NOT a fast worker, lmao. What's fast to you.... lightspeed?!?

I never would have considered a white/green rose but it looks lovely!

OMG! That's the rose I just did from the WDE!! Mine is in the pink color - as close as I could come to the ref pic. Sadly, mine is on an expensive 10 X 10" Creative Edge Gallery wrap and yours makes mine look; well, like garbage. Why do I bother......

Thankyou Kathy!
I think I'm going to stop at #8 as I have a still life to finish, a still life to start and finish and a large floral to add the final touches to aswell as preparing all the other written stuff that goes with the exhibition and framing etc.... I also write a monthly article "Artist of the Month" for a regional paper and I am October...always find it more difficult writing about myself. ...and then of course there's the November classroom to prepare for and I am curator and press officer for a collective....and a mum of 2...and a guide.....and insane!!! LOL!
Glad you are enjoying the series, I'll post them altogether when I'm done with #8. ;)

Thankyou Margaret! If this one sells I am painting another in the same colouring for my bathroom! :)

Thankyou Claire...Mine too! :)

Thanx Dewi!

Thankyou Al....I was so worried about getting the colour right on this one, I had no idea if it was going to work or not, the only thing in my favour was that sap green is such a clear green, it allowed me to glaze the yellow over the top for a subtle glow.

Thankyou Saera...They are for a solo exhibition in November.

Thanx Gail! I agree, the colour combo is very easy on the eye.

LOL...I don't feel I work fast when I am painting but I do generate rather alot of paintings I agree....but then I don't sleep, so I have 24 hours opposed to your 16. ;) LOL!

BJC...I doubt your rose is "garbage" at all but I appreciate the compliment...Thankyou!

LOL...YES, you have already said that...but I can stand to hear it again! ;) Thankyou Caroline. :)

Thankyou Jani!

Bless, thankyou Rosalie! ;)

Thanx John, I agree, the wrap really works well with this size and subject.

Hi Pampe! Thankyou!

OK - now looking for this series here... I like the painterly quality of this one... will you post them altogether when they are complete?

There's something about this series as a group that enhances each one. It makes me want to start collecting them or something. Birth stones right? I think I get it now...duh!

Hey a green one. I think this one is fabulous (fabulous is my word for the day ) And ranks among the top of all of them.

Do we get to see them all together?

Turbocat...Thankyou, yes I will be posting them altogether once I've finished #8.

I love that this series urges you to collect them...I had hoped that people would be as keen to purchase 2/3 aswell as single works from this collection. :) Some are birthstones and some are not but all are Gemstones! ;)

I thought if I only painted Birthstones it may actually hinder a sale, would your sub-concious allow you to purchase one that you liked but that wasn't your Birthstone or would it encourage you to your birthstone and then make you realise you had nowehere to hang that particular colour in your home?
Mmmm....Perhaps I think too much? LOL!

Carol...Fabulous is OK with me babe! :D I like this one too!

Okay - I'm not sure how I missed this one - could it be that you paint so many and they all require 5 looks???? WOW! I love this one! It is my birthstone, so I guess I do feel a particular attachment to it, although I've never been fond of the gem. But - if the gem looked like this...I think I could wear it! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

LOL...Thankyou Diahn, I'm flattered that you feel my rose is more appealing than the real thing ;)
