I think your lion looks very good.
One question- is there enough of the pupils of his eyes showing? I'm not familiar with the beasts.

Nice painting Gordon.....beautiful and deadly looking...i wouldn't like to cross him...his fur/hair/mane....is all well done...i like your colours also......nice piece.

Nice Job Gordon. I like the style, the colors and the expression. Give it a shot and x post it in the amimal and wild live channel. Can't hurt and let the animal people comment. I've done it with some of mine and recieved good responses.

See the lioness in the Wildlife section posted today by myself, there are also some elephant studies.
I was just over there gordon, and all I can say is Oh My god! In thiry years I could never be that good. I'll check out the elephants too. And I recommend that anyone else who reads this take a look in the animal channel.
