I did these from the last WDE, a reference of Helens. 10"x20" each, on wrapped cotton canvas. I need to look at them a while to see if they need some more tweaks but they are mostly finished.

I really like this, amazing composition. My partner would like this, being half Oglala Sioux he has a passion for native american art.

HI Chiers.......Excellent....Is there nothing you cannot do :))
I want to start doing some acrylics, but I am afraid of failure LOL.......I love this

Gail, Bride, thanks for your comments!

Caroline, thank you. Both images are there though. they are side by side, long and narrow.

Hi Tx and thank you. Well I try most mediums but not always well. I do like to step out of the box. It keeps me interested and motivated but often when I do I trip on the edge and fall flat on my face. This time I am happy with my results for a change.

I suggest you go ahead and give acrylics a try! You never know what you can do until you at least give it a shot and there is sooo much information at WC to be had about all mediums. You really have nothing to lose by trying. If you paint something you don't like.....well who has to know? Hee Hee Or better yet, show it and learn how to fix it. I do understand the"fear of failure quite well though!!"

This is definitely outside the box. Somewhat abstract but it is obvious what they are. Wonderful colours too.
