Good Morning Patty. Florida has all these great birds. Very nice photos. I like the third one the best. Although the fourth one is also a beaut. That big bird looks like he was there just to pose for you. All of them are nice, but the second one looks a bit flat.

Patty,
Gorgeous Florida skies!
Love the shots with the Egret(?), #3 & #4 my favourites too.
That golden colour is sublime. :)
Patty, good shots! #3 and 4 are tops in my book. They just need a touch more contrast!

#3 is the easy winner for me. I agree w/ Rich that the contrast could be pushed just a bit more. Still, they're all beautiful! :D

Thank you Terry, Howard, Rich and Justin. I think you were right with adding a bit more contrast to 3.. So here goes it...http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/25-Sep-2005/43268-sun_3rd.jpg

Beautiful. Number three was my pick also. I like it better with more contrast....nice.

Thank you Maria and Wendy, I was so glad I got my butt up early to catch the sunrise. Had to drive a bit to get there but not bad. Thanks for looking!!

Patty,
Yup, that's done it alright!
My butt doesn't normally see this time in the morning... so to speak! :D
Well worth the effort on your part though. :)

A series of really beautiful photos Patty. Like the majority my favourites are numbers three and four and I agree the increased contrast on No. 3 makes a wail of difference.
I'm so envious of the locations you have your side of the pond

Thanks Howard and Rob, don't ever envy me Rob you too have some beautiful countryside where you are. I went to London and Scotland for my honeymoon and always told Steve I could move there in a minute. I love all the quaint towns and countryside. Just gorgeous....Every place has its beauty...http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_13_15.gif

Excellent observation Patty, to see the beauty we often only have to see it with fresh eyes.Look at your surrounds through the eyes of a child or a tourist and you will start to see things you never knew were there.

Patty - just lovely! My favourite is no. 4. I would've said no. 1 if it wasn't for the flying bird at the pole... Gee, I think I should get up a bit earlier to try and catch a sunrise, if only they weren't so early in the day... ;)

Wow! What stunning colour Patty, somehow I'd almost missed this thread ~ glad I didn't :)
The egret shot is my pick of the bunch too, perfect silhouette - well caught (and well tweaked ;) )

Thank you Carol, Stephie and Andee for your kind comments. Andee I love getting up that early at times because there are not too many people around and its so peaceful... Of course I was going to do it this morning and the bed just felt to comfy....:D:D
