This is a plein air pastel I painted last week. Its high summmer here and the light is really inviting you to paint. I usually worked on Canson or velour paper, now Im trying Wallis. Please tell me what you think about it. Thanks
Sandra

Ut-oh.....
Roan - her name is Sandra, the gloria is the paintings name.

Bobbie - that's not my painting (*sigh*).
Sandra did it.I only corrected the filename and posted it for her.

Sandra, beautiful work!!!

Sandra,

Sorry about confusing your name with the title of the painting. We recently had an incident where someone registered with an "" in their name -- the board wouldn't let her upload stuff 'cause it only accepts ASCII characters and not ANSI -- that went and stuck in my head. So, when I saw "Gloria", I thought it was the same thing again :P

Sandra,

Superb handling of the pastel and wonderful stroke work. The high-key color scheme is also very appropriate for the subject.
