Finally off the easel. :clap: :clap: :clap: It is done, I hope, unless you guys see any glaring errors.
36X48 inches, W&N Finity Acrylics.

magnificent carol. the bird is beautifully rendered and the background perfectly reflects the speed of the attack.

Oh I remember another one of yours...this is fantastic too, and I don't even usually go for this type of work.. a BIG exception here! The blue is killing, the stop action/blue really riveting, congratulations..-Nick

Maureen: thanks. Maybe you need to adjust the brightness on your 'puter. Colours are relatively true to life. :)

Great work Carol. The color and shading of the eagle are very life like, and the sense of motion is fantastic.

Carol, this is sensational! Everything is superb, and a fantastic job on the water - the blue is just too good!

Caroline: it will be a long time before I do a painting of this size again. My largest prior to this was 24X36. Ha!! I thought I was up to this. All I can say is make sure it fits on your easel. Thanks for the comments.

Hi again Carol........i thought i would hang it on a couple of nails....and tape some paper around for the splashes....well thats the idea...lol...i actually painted 2 thin wooden panels before....forget about that...they were about.....16''x36''....i did them a year ago and they hung in the side windows of my daughters cafe i sold them recently....first ever sale.... :cat:

Congrats on the sale Caroline. The other thing I learnt, if you are going to hang it on a wall, good lighting is a must.
