A new project has been announced in the WetCanvas! project system!

Title: Art Card A-Z Floral Gallery
Project Leader: DominicM
Relative Difficulty: Irrelevant
Type Restrictions: Painting
Medium: Watercolor paints
Subject: Floral
Days open for signups: 185
Maximum participants allowed: Unlimited

Description:

In addition to posting in Watercolor Gallery participants are invited to upload their weekly ACEO Floral cards to this Project Gallery. This will create a gallery of all the cards submitted with the facility to comment on each one in the Project Thread.

The image size should be restricted to 250 x 350 pixels for vertical cards or 350 x 250 pixels for horizontal cards. Whilst there is a restriction of only one card per week in the ACEO threads, this does not apply in the Floral Gallery. Multiple entries will be accepted.

The only restriction on medium is that it should be watercolour, watercolour pencil or gouache.

The description of each entry should commence with the title and your description of the subject.

Viewers will be able to comment on individual cards in the Project thread.

Additional Information:

For more information on the project: Click here! (http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/Projects/index.php?cmd=view_details&proj_id=938)

Remember, in order to help keep the discussions on projects organized, you should post your questions, suggestions, and comments on submitted work here in this thread. By doing this, we allow other non-project efforts to not get "pushed down" by a swarm of project-related threads.

I like this now as it has become a project... thanks alot Doug... I've just uploaded my three ACEOS for week "A"...

BTW I think there is no need to post threads in the gallery as this is already a gallery and also a thread to comment... also no need for discussion thread(s) in the wash as this is a discussion thread as well... projects keep all those thing together... and I don't understand your fear about long threads... once you post a comment you are a subscriber of that thread and you receive notification emails of posts... clicking on the links on notification emails directs you to the correct post where you had left...

Vasil, thanks, the weekly gallery post with the single image and poem is continuing, not everyone can access/looks at the project system.. think of this project is really an individual gallery for us to showcase all our work... I am working out the fine details on use..will post later

I seem to have figured it out.
I prefer your background to mine - I think mine is too blue and it conflicts with the flowers. I aimed for a view of bluebonnets in a filed and imagined that the blue behind would be the flowers too, but it doesn't always work in painting as in photography.
Yours has more contrast which is good for a painting.

Ale, the text box in the uploading page does not have features for text formating... just write your technical notes there and then you can comment on your own image and add whatever else you would like to say...

ale.l
08-29-2005, 06:30 AM
Vasil, how do you make comments on multiple submissions? Where I look I can only make a comment per painting

vasilkadifeli
08-29-2005, 06:36 AM
that is very easy, you just click "comment" link for an image but you don't submit it immediately... just keep this page open... then in some other page open another image you want to comment and click on the "comment" link... this time copy/paste the first two lines provided automatically into your first page's text box... this way you may accumulate the links and thumbnail scripts (I guess a max of five thumbnails is allowed per post) and then you type your comment text and submit...

I am not sure but I hope I am clear enough...

ale.l
08-29-2005, 06:46 AM
Yep, clear... that's how I thought it could be done but wanted to be certain there isn't a more automated way. Thanx.

08-29-2005, 07:04 AM
Hi Gudrun, ACEO is the short for Art Cards Edited and Originals... their size is the same as baseball cards children collect... and I guess people like to collect them... they are 2.5"x3.5" in size and any medium though this is a watercolor project... Patty (Starsprite) says that there is a market already on eBay that you can sell your ACEOs... this is a 26 week challenge of painting ACEO flowers starting with letters A-to-Z...

Yeah, spread the word in Germany :)
They are very popular in the USA. People collect them and display them in various ways: in albums like photographs, as refrigerator art on metal holders, some frame them in sets or stick them to walls as they are. Others put them in dollhouses and some keep them under the coffee table glass top instead of grandchildren's photos :)

The highest price that we know of was on ebay recently - 416 USD!

Thanks all, I still suggest you leave it till say the tuesday evening in the week before posting your images - unless you are happy others seeing your pictures before the official release date the images, but thats up to you... please remember this is not a replacement for the weekly gallery thread as the number of pictures make it a real pain for dialup users..

no problem Jo, Ale, its just a suggestion, I posted mine beause I didnt think you would be so fast in signing up :D silly me

This might be my favorite amaryllis so far! You were clever to invent a darker background which works well with the flower.

Let me see the bluebonnets now :) Especially the one with the same reference as mine. I like seeing how different people do the same scenes in different ways and use different approaches.

Hi again Gudrun ...

this is actually a watercolor challenge of painting A-Z flower ACEOs... the actual threads are posted in the watercolor gallery so the medium has to be watercolors... there are two groups there and hence two threads which are started on wednesday each week... besides the ACEOs we also provide a poem but this is not a must... I guess ... the project here is a watercolor project but has been established with the only purpose of being just a gallery or an album to hold all of our finished ACEOs... I guess there will not be so much talking here but the real discussions will go on in the two weekly threads in the wc gallery...

still I think, if you want you may post your encaustics ACEOs here.. actually I am really curious to see your amaryllis or bluebonnet flower ACEOs in encaustics... encaustics is such an interesting technique for me which I think the results are not so easily predictable :)

We live and learn, Vasil - I hadn't noticed that feature myself!

When viewing a members submission, click "View all Comments"

Dominic, this is why the thumbnail gallery has to be in addition to the normal posting. In my monthly TG I did ask for members to include the url of the original posting thread so that comments could be made there, but in your case this wouldn't work as all the weekly ACEO's are posted in the same thread. That's where comments should be made.

The ACEO Art Card Project is just a way of seeing all the cards on one page.

Hi all. I'm new here, and relatively new to watercolors....but have been painting non-stop for most of this year, I think!! I'm sure there's a better place for me to actually introduce myself to you. I'll find that and post a recent painting for critique soon.

But, here are my really stupid questions about this project: I've never heard of art cards before...are the actual paintings the size of baseball cards?? (I saw the exact measurements in the thread)...as opposed to a regular size painting that is printed and reduced.

Also, is it okay for me to join a little late?? I'm not too far behind, I'm sure I could make up A and B and jump in with C!!

Thanks! All of your work is inspiring me!!

Hi Amy! Welcome. No, you're not too late. The more the merrier. I'm sure if you private message Starsprite (or just wait long enough) she'll tell you what's what. As for the art cards, well, I asked about them a while ago and that's what started this crazy floral project. Ha. Yes, they are 2.5" x 3.5" and that's the size of the actual painting. Teeny tiny. They are all the rage on ebay and other places. Crazy, right?

Don't think you'll have to make up the other letters unless you want to, by the way. The next letter ('D') is announced late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Wednesdays are when the new paintings are displayed in the Gallery.

Not usually, Add a touch of this and that as it appears, usually do an under painting (thanks to em's great examples) for shadows etc.

Mike I love both of your bluebonnet ACEOs... great colors... the flowers are well done, the yellow part details at the top and the purples in the petals are very beautiful... do you use ready greens or are those mixes ? what's that dark background ? real black ?

If I use tube greens it would be either Sap or Hookers. Starting to mix them more and more. The dark background was a mix and has a slight tinge of purple and really dark blues

Mike , the best place to comment is in the original threads, however many people omit the necessary urls so I have to accept that comments woul be made by clicking "Comment".

No Patty, but despite clear intructions in the project announcement, people have been omitting the urls and viewers have ben commenting in the project thread instead.

I think we will have to accept that.

I don't understand what you mean Doug. I just went over and read the instructions in the Project and it says you can comment on each individual card in the Project. Besides, we have only allowed each person to submit one ACEO card each week and some people do 2 or 3, and post them in the Project. Responding in the Comment section in the Project would be their only way of commenting on those ACEO's.........right?

Hello everyone,

I just signed up for this project and wondered if you all could help give me some of the details. I see there are three flowers now (did you begin three weeks ago?)... who came up with the names of the flowers and is there a list to work from?

I am a CPer but jumping over into WC or WC pencil to do this project. I was wondering how you all come up with your subjects, do you use ref photos or take your own? I am relatively new to mini art (ACEO) and need as much info as possible to get started. I have all the materials and the right size paper. I would love to know where you get your references from.. this library here or from real life...:-)

Forgive my many questions... trying to get up to speed and I'm late (as usual).

Thanks!
Rose

Rose, PM on its way and welcome to our merry band, and you are welcome to join my group..

please post any questons here, but they will probably better in the monthly thread (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=292083) where you will also discover the flowers for each week when they are released

Thank you Karl and Vasil... I am hoping to get underway tonight. Having a tropical storm here in Fla right now, and kind of hectic with three kids around, but maybe after they go to bed I'll yank out my wc pencils and give it a go! I will be starting with D and then get caught back up with ABC! :-) You all have posted such beauties, don't know if I can compete with the ones already in the gallery! :-) I appreciate your help and welcomes!!!Rose

Hi, I just signed up, haven't been here for a long time. I'm confused also. Are there photo's of each letter. I see that everyone is doing the same flower for each letter. Where is the "monthly thread" ? I would like to start with A, is that's OK.

Hi Jeannine ,

this is a challenge for 26 weeks to paint A-Z flower ACEOs...

there are two groups leaded by Patty (Starsprite ) and Dominic (DominicM)... challenge threads are started by them in to the Watercolor Gallery each Wednesday before which we email to our leader our post inother words a text including a link to one of our ACEOs and a poem ofcourse...

there is also this project-gallery to post all the ACEOs you have painted for the week, but less talking is going on here...

there are not fixed reference images to paint from, but as we all search the RIL for a ref image we all probably tend to like and prefer the same one :D...

also each week one of the members is deciding what should be the flower for next week... so next comes week "D" and JoAnn (Little Old Lady) has chosen Daffodils...

You can go to the top "Content Areas", select "Art Project System" and if the Art Card Gallery is not showing, here's a link (http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/index.php?cmd=browse_final&proj_id=938) to the thumbnails under member names (the same s licking "Browse Finished Works").

To see them all, click "Click Here".

Hmm I don't see your cards listed - perhaps this is not where you posted them?

Hey Vasil, just explain to me in words of one syllable how you put several responses into one post - I'm a thickie at these technical things.

Doug

vasilkadifeli
09-09-2005, 03:39 AM
in one syllable words ! that would be quite challenging :D... let me see :)

it is actually very easy but I am not sure if you can find it practical or not... you know how to open a link on a new page, don't you ? by right clicking on the link and selecting "Open in New Window"...

so now you just click "comment" link for one of the images but don't submit it immediately... just keep this page open...

then open another image on a new page and click on it's comment link... copy the first two lines from the text box that come automatically and paste them into the text box in the first page above... now you can close that new window as you don't need it anymore...

do the above thing for as many images as you want (I am not sure but there is a limit of either 5 or 10 thumbnails in a post)... this way you may accumulate the links and thumbnail IMG scripts in the text box in your first page... then type in your comment about them and submit your post...

Vasil, thanks for the nice comments! Yupo is hard to handle! What a challenge! It's funny, the one you liked I didn't due to the heavy green background... it looked more chartreuse to me... and then I thought, well, too late! My hubby liked it too! :-) Thanks for taking time to notice! Try the Yupo, I'd be interested to hear what you think.

Ok Starsprite and I have been talking again..

We are popular!!

Each week brings more people, who wish to participate, which is really encouraging for us, however I am sure you will understand as Starsprite and myself both work full-time, our spare time is precious and we would rather spend it painting.. :wink2: :D

You may, or may not know, we have grown from the original 4 participants, to 20 who have signed up for the gallery a few plus more I know of who take part but are unable to post into the Project system.

Due to the increased levels of admin required for us each week to prepare the group posts, it has sadly become necessary for us to freeze the level of participants we have in each of our groups :(, as they have reached the maximum level we feel is managable.

Please note, this project/challenge is still open for you to take part in, and we would like to encourage you to participate, we just didn't really expect it to be so popular, however, we planned for this eventuality, just in case.

Our contingency plan was/is to allow casual participitation, so If you wish to join in, please do, the only difference is rather than sending us your image/poem you will be asked to add it into one of the weekly threads yourself on the Wednesday.

So just pretend you are taking part casually for the next so many weeks :D and please also remember to post your work into the project gallery, share the fun experience we are all having, and if there are enough casual participants perhaps we can form a third group.

NB. This project/challenge is still open for you to take part in, and we would like to encourage you to participate

OK, we have split the groups into 3x8 - see monthly thread for full details

I was tempted to give Christie all her fellow countrymen, but with what Malty and Banxy get upto, I think that would be a bad idea - plus you are all so good :D ...

Also keeping my group strong would not have been fair either, so picking a balanced group to transfer over to Christie's was a very tough choice to make for me. :crying: :crying: :crying:
I have PM'd the following who have forthwith been transferred to Christie's new group:

Strawberry Wine,
Ottersong,
Jenoir,
scriblett,
imagenie.

Let me just repeat what I said publicly to those I have transferred, its been a delight and a pleasure having you all in my group (even if for some it has only been a couple of days), I look forward to seeing your continued development in the new group over the coming weeks.
Happy painting, and if you could PM your weekly image/poem from here on in to Christie.

My Group will remain:
JustjoGA
laudesan,
stephie20,
Sue Galos,
vasilkadifeli,
lisabk60;
IrishRose,
DominicM

in retrospect 14 people in my team was a bit large, so 3 teams of 8 is more managable for all concerned, thanks Christie for stepping up to the plate.

Sue as I said the yellow one is wonderful and the background is so lovely... but I like also the second one... your red-violet color is so bright... I always have difficulty with those colors they are so dull... not only the mixes but even those that come ready appear so dull on my paper...

Vasil - thanks for taking the time to look at them all - you are amazingly diligent! Actually my favorite was the purple striped single - but gotta let the dh have his imput too :D The red-violet was alizarin crimson with some blue (don't remember which :o ) mixed in to glaze for the shadows.

These daffies are beautiful Ale!!! So transparent! How did you get the texture in your background??

Thanks S.
Background... ok, here's my stream of consciousness on it :D

I decided to lay a dark background to contrast with the flowers and decided that I should do several glazes which would provide for variation. Since I had yellow in the flowers and green hues as well I decided the backgorund should be dark blue-green-yellow with the hues produced by overlaying those colors in different consistencies.

I laid down cad yellow first to have unity with the flowers, then ultramarine blue and phtalo blue and aliz crimson in the end knowing this one would make a dark shade and start turning into purple where it caught more of the blue tone. These layers mixing of course produced shades of green and other colors you can see there.

In the process of drying I dabbed with a tissue where I thought it was too dark which revealed the glazes underneath, like the yellow there you can see peeping through. (I remembered how Nick Simmons did it in one one of his presentations here :) Thank you Nick!

Hope it was helpful.

Jeannine, cool wasp!!! I do cp too, isn't it fun??? May have to start a project over in the CP section for something like this with flowers.. :-)

Ale.. wonderful description of how you planned your palette! I think your colors are awesome!

Patty, TRY THEM!!! They won't bite! Actually, they are really good over a watercolor wash... you can get much more detail with them and have the best of both worlds. I am not fond of wc pencils that much, but the cp (Prismacolor is what I mostly use) are just wonderfully buttery and layer so well. :-) Ok, off my soapbox! LOL

Rose,

I just started doing CP. Haven't posted anything, just lurking in cp forum. I had an artist roommate that did Batik. When she left, she forgot her pencils. She's in Europe now, so I thought I might as well give it a try, since I had all the pencils. I've done a few from a book, but would like to take a class soon. I like it, lot's of control compared to watercolor.

I'd love to see some of your work if you have gotten around to starting anything! :-) I think it's a great medium and I have my favorite pencils already... and if you work on good paper like Stonehenge, you'll really flip! :-) I am going to try mixed media next to have a bit of both worlds. Thanks for posting! Enjoy the pencils!

Jackie, I think the plan is to start a new discussion thread each week when the new flower is announced (E is Easter Lily); F will be announced the day the Easter Lily AC's are posted ... The ACEO Gallery is for any extra ones (such as more versions than the entry post)... One letter per week is chosen and announced.... Easier to coordinate that way, and each week's paintings commented on...

Any other questions, Starsprite or DominicM (our fearless leaders) will be happy to give you more info.

For the purposes of this A-Z Floral Challenge, TEA, we are using
watercolor paper, watercolor paints, wc paper cut to ACEO size.
I know some in the regular ACEO Forum/threads use other media
and other paper/board, but I only do wc ...

Sorry - I misplaced the pictures, I totally missed the A-Z thing. And as for a card, it could be if it were shrunk and printed. The instructions for A-Z were unclear. So I will just post them someplace else.

Carroll, please don't take me wrong and take offence.
By all means post your watercolor paintings in the WATERCOLOR GALLERY forum for comments and critique. That's where we all post them.

The Project Thread A-Z ACEO Flower Challenge is something specific: it is an extension of the Flower Challenge to which several people subscribed and paint each week a new flower in the ACEO size - 2.5x3.5 inches. We show one card in the Flower Challenge thread and post the rest in the Project Gallery, so this Gallery ONLY holds 2.5x3.5 original paintings of flowers beginning with A through Z, over time. So, even your shrinking idea won't work I'm afraid :)

It's not a proble at all, we all get confused in such a big site as this is. The most important thing is for you to realize we didn't mean anything bad by alerting you of the error. The idea is to have a gallery with A-Z flowers as assigned through the process and EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO CONTRIBUTE.

So, if you want, you can still paint all the A-Z flowers and submit them to the gallery. They need to be the flowers which were assigned and originals of the ACEO size, ok?

I think I got this all right. If I was wrong anywhere please someone correct me.

Thanks and sorry if we came across "hostile" in any way.

Carroll,

I didn't mean any offense either... was just commenting on what I saw in the gallery. Hope I didn't cause you any upset! I am sorry if I did.. would love to see some of your flowers in ACEO original formats.. that would be great if you joined! :-)

Irish Rose, thanks, you were quick to jump in the gallery :) It's nice to have them all there isn' t it? I've been looking often to see if people have updated but there aren't many there yet.

What in particular would you like me to tell you about the backgrounds :)

All I can say generally is that I don't paint them detached from the main subject: which means that when painting the flower and the leaves I take the green, yellow or other color into the background knowing that I would come with another glaze for the leaves to strengthen them. These "incursions" of other colors into the background will surve later for variation when I come with the final glaze in the background. I take care in advance that any combination of colors I will be using won't produce mud!

I also take care that I choose light colors behind dard subjects and dark behind light subjects for focus and contrast. Sometimes I think of terms of complimentary colors to set the subjects off but also take into consideration harmony of the palette. To get a dark bckrnd I go with a couple of glazes with primary colors, blue, red and yellow in different consistencies and they produce ranges of orange, violet and green and all the shades in between.

And, I tend to dab with a tissue when a layer is drying to produce some variation so it's not a flat wall of color behind a flower.

No secrets here :) Was that helpful? Try that in your next flower and show us :)

IrishRose

Ale, you're most welcome, and thank YOU for your secrets! :-) Your descriptions were very helpful and I will employ them in my next flower! I appreciate your taking time to explain your techniques... as a beginner here, I could use all the help I can get!

Finally got this one in, reallly late. My first attempt to paint a white flower. I did this one fast. Been out of town for a family wedding, etc.

I just downloaded 12 fuchsias into the ril. I sent an email requesting that they be approved quickly, don't know if that will help. Sorry I didn't have time to get them in earlier. Took me forever to figure out how to scan the slides. Also I noticed fuchsias listed as fuscia and fuschia, so you could check there. I requested a seperate category in flowers for them because their so hard to spell and get lost. Even if these are late, they are worth looking at. Enjoy. :cat:

Glad you like the photos. Yes, they are easy to grow in Calif. One of my favorite flowers. These are from old slides taken in my husbands uncles yard. They belonged to a garden club. I have tons of slides from their yard. Took me awhile to figure out how to scan them in batches. I will be putting more in the rif if they ever fix it. I've had so much trouble lately getting anything to go in.

I just checked the rif and they finally are in, but are duplicated.

Hi Jo,

I know what you mean, really small petals on these flowers! I have been battling a sinus/tooth infection all week, so my painting is ailing like me! No time for much of a poem either, but a short one. Good to get it done. Looking forward to the G flower.

Happy week everyone...

Rose -Did you go to the dentist yet? I spent 4 hours in the chair a couple of weeks ago. I had to go to a wedding, 2 dentists getting married, so my dentist was on a mission to get me all fixed before the wedding !!! Gave me nitros oxide, he loves a happy patient.

IrishRose
09-28-2005, 08:03 AM
Jeannine, no, didn't go to the dentist, but do have an appointment in mid-Oct. They couldn't fit me in sooner... so I tried the antibiotic in case it was sinus. Can't tell if it's working, still feel the same. Sounds like you got quite the treatment. Two dentists getting married and your dentist wanted to impress them by fixing you up... hm, I know how that works! :-) They still use nitrous oxide?? COOL!

Rose just so you know,
I also went to the dentist for a bad headache and toothache
several exrays later dentist said go see your ENT its your sinuses... noting wrong with your teeth,

Every six monthes I get same headache only now I know which Dr to go to,
I can usually treat it with antihistimines now as I dont wait so long to treat it.

Every case is different but thats my story hope it helps

Kat,

I don't have the headache as such, but congestion on the right side (it's ALWAYS this side, year after year!)... and this awful taste. It's been 4 days on antibiotics, do you think I should take an antihistamine? Like Benadryl? Thanks for sharing your story. I also have a bit of a throat tickle now, so don't know what that's all about. hm....

Dom, these are great looking flowers! Cool, can't wait to jump in when I'm feeling better. :-)

Hi Dominic et al

I've just signed up for this project !! Hope that's OK & I can catch up with ABCDE as I go along.

Tried my first ACT today - Fuchsia - it was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. For a start had to keep moving back from the painting so that my specs would focus. Everything soon went a bit muddy and so I fancied it up a bit with some jelly pens [maybe that's not allowed].

However, I have picked a branch from a fuchsia growing in the garden & plan to do another from the real plant.

Hello in here (here... here...here...here)

I am brand new to wetcanvas, and love the A-Z project.
I saw that H --Hibiscus - was announced last week and painted a few and uploaded them. But since that day - NOTHING! no other Hibiscuses have been loaded by other members - nothing on the discussion thread--
What Happened?? or did I post in the wrong place/?
Curiously yrs,
diana

Hi DiQ,
You are supposed to sign up for the project by PMing DominicM. He would be able to tell you more. There are currently three groups and all have a group leader. You would have to be placed in a group. Then you upload one entry every Tuesday evening by PMing the group leader with your image and your poem. The entries are all posted in one place on Wednesday morning, each individual group posts their members' paintings. You can add other paintings to the gallery on the day we post our entries, or before if you don't mind everyone seeing your paintings early. These are to be done in watercolor on a 2.5 x 3.5 support of your choice.
Hope this helps. You can PM DominicM for more info.
Thanks!
Rose

Diana, according to your user profile (click on a user' name) you have only one official post that's this one.

To participate in the ACEO project you need to sign up then upload your painting via the project uploader.

The best way to get noticed then is to make a comment on your own painting via the project system.

I just checked and you are signed up and your two hibiscus paintings are in the A-Z thumbnail gallery. Simply comment on your paintings by clicking on the thumbnail and your comment will appear in this thread.

oh that wasn't my question. I know that I signed up and successfully uploaded four little pix. I'm not looking for comments. I'm just looking for EVERYBODYELSE!
EVerything seemed to come to a stop last week.
Is there a reason?

Doug.... I just checked and Diana has already signed up for the A-Z project and uploaded four really nice Hibiscus ACEO's.

Welcome Diana!! What we do is.... we have three groups, I'm the leader for group 1. If you would like to join my group...that would be fine! I like to have my people PM me with a picture of one of the flowers for that week...at size 250 x 350 or 350 x 250 by Tuesday night 9:00 p.m. central time. Also we are writing a short poem or haiku, or just a thought to go with the painting..it's not something you HAVE TO DO though. We post the group's ACEO's on Wednesday morning in the Watercolor Gallery for comments. Then we post all of the painting of the flower we have done into the Project for more comments. Make sense? Any questions just PM me.. :)

Ohhhh...if you don't want to have yours posted in the Gallery with a group...you can still just post them in the Project (like you have done). We usually don't post the flower for that week until Wednesday morning though..and comments will follow shortly on that day.

Also the name of the flower for next Wednesday's posting will be revealed in the Art Card thread in the Wash Cafe Wednesday morning.

Well you need to send me the Hibiscus ACEO you want me to post with our group in tomorrow's A-Z flower thread, (with or without a poem) by 9:00 PM CST tonight if you want to be in the group thread. Just send it to me in a PM. Just click on my name by my picture and you'll see Send a Private Message to Starsprite. then upload your ACEO and tell us a bit about the paints and paper you used... if you enjoyed painting it... a little about yourself... OK?

Welcome DQ :)
I think some people are negligent about uploading their finished works in the gallery. Come on guys, we are missing out on some great stuff....

I often go to the gallery just to have an eyeful of paintings :)

I just got a new person in mine this week...so I would bet that Christie would be happy to take you in her Group...Group 3, (the Farm Team). I still don't know what my team and Dominic's names are.... or why hers is the Farm Team..LOL :D Maybe we need to think of names for our groups..eh Dominic?? :)
