World Wide Paint Out at Mead Garden, winter Park.
The Central Florida Plein Air Artists, (CFPAA) in collaboration with the International Plein Air Painters, (IPAP) is sponsoring a Worldwide “ Paint Out” and Exhibit at Mead Garden, 1300 Denning Drive, Winter Park, FL. Thedates are
September 9th and 10th to view Artists painting in the garden and an Exhibit/Sale of art created during the event will be held on Sunday, September 11th, from 2-5pm at the Garden Club on the premises. Artists in other areas of Florida, the U.S., and all around the globe will be painting landscapes simultaneously on the same dates.
The public is invited to join in the fun and watch artists painting in the garden and attend the Reception and Exhibit on Sunday, September 11th for Art, live music, and refreshments. Floral designs by the Winter Park Garden Club will also be on display during the art show. The Garden Club is known for its award winning floral designs.
This is the third Annual Worldwide “Paint Out.” The December issue of Plein air Magazine mentions these simultaneous events and the emergence of Plein Air Painting and IPAP, which has members residing throughout the world. It was created for the sole purpose of advancing the execution and enjoyment of Plein Air Painting without the limitations of borders or regions.
