pastel again, highly figurative.. deeply meaningful to me
http://www.linkline.com/personal/rgweller/images/twoplusallstand.jpg
from artlex.com (an art terms dictionary on line):
figurative - Describes artwork representing the form of a human, an animal or a thing; any expression of one thing in terms of another thing. Abstract artwork is the opposite of figurative art in certain ways.
I'm not sure what you mean by highly figurative? Is this your understanding of figurative (above def.). Or do you have another? I was under the impression figurative needed to alude to recognizable form. I'm not sure what your objects are.
Am I off base?
aside from that confusion, on my part, I think the other piece is stronger. this does not have as good a sense of continuity as the other one. but it is difficult to see at the size its at, I have to scroll.
