View Full Version : Durer watercolor sticks by faber?

I have used Fabers Durer watercolor pencils and love them. But today i came across a product with the same name but these are in stick form.
Faber-Castell ALBRECHT DÜRER Watercolors Stix.

Has anyone used these? Do they react to brush and water like the pencils do? If so i am very interested in buying the sticks because of larger projects i have planned.

Thank you for you help.

So no one has used these or heard of them?

Sounds interesting. I'd like to know more about them too. Can you post one of your works with the pencils? Love to see it.

Hi Nikki, I don't have those watercolour stiks, but I did buy a few of another brand, and frankly I loved how they worked. They just glided on and with some water spread beautifully. I'll have to check out the Farber-brand as I believe they make a very good product.

And, like you, I do use watercolour pencils. I think I actually like the stiks far better for lushness.

Can you show us some work done with these? I find this fascinating.
