This is sister painting to one posted on "open critique" forum. This is a new style and direction for my art. Some feedback would be so very much appreciated.

I like the the background. think the bird may be a bit soft to have the image sit together as a whole. perhaps interjecting a bit (not a lot) of angularity into the bird would help?
