I tried to do 2 this weekend to make up for being absent so long. The relatives are gone, horse is sold, vacation and weekend work is done for now. The broken water pipe in our bedroom is still leaking, though... Thanks so much for hosting, Connie and all of the beautiful photos. I may try a self-portrait this week, probably in graphite - one of my most comfortable mediums. I need to be comfortable to draw myself.....

Both of these are approximately 10x13 on brownish Canson mi Tientes paper, Sennelier Oil Pastels. C&C most welcome.

About 2 hours on Connie's tree - still needs work....

About 1 1/2 hours on the wetlands - loved the colors on this one!

Beautiful, Beautiful Paintings Becky. These two were my favorites that I saved, and you have done such wonderful paintings of them. The sky in the wetlands is to die for, and the greens and the bark of the tree just luv them

Connie - thanks for hosting and providing all of the wonderful photos!

Angie - welcome back and thanks for the nice comments. I'll try that self-portrait as soon as possible...

Thanks Cori and Sharron - and Sharron thanks for that lime cooler recipe!

Welcome back Dean and thanks for looking and commenting.

Thanks Redwine, your comments are much appreciated!

Thanks Alex - my hubby fancies himself a home handyman, so it often takes us quite awhile to get everything back to normal at our house...

Thanks for your comments, Sherry!
