Hi there,

I need to do a large pastel project but I do not know what kind of paper/board I could use (brand, source, etc), minimum of 1 meter by 1 meter. Sanded boards are preferable...is there such a thing?

Thanks,

Juvie

Juvie,
Have tried Wallis? In NY Central Art they have Wallys Museum grade 300gr/m2 in rolls.
I think they are 46 x 16yards, so you can work the size you need.

If you'll be painting on board that large, remember that under glass with a frame it will be quite heavy. But you can prepare your own surface on museum board which comes 40"x60" or if you need a more rigid surface, masonite using one of the several formulas available.

Thanks guys....I must agree that boards would be quite too heave for large projects....I'll try Wallis...sounds very good...
