Videos on painting

I subscribe to Australian Artist which has many videos listed in the back. I'm keen to buy a couple and was wondering if anybody could recommend any they have bought, or any videos from another magazine or source. I'm interested in painting in general, but would prefer a video on pastels.

As far as pastel portrait videos, I'd say Daniel Greene's is very informative. You didn't specify if you wanted portrait videos or other subject matter.
Greene's video can be obtained through Signilar videos or writing him at his studio in North Salem, NY.

Speaking of portrait videos, the American Society of Portrait Artists is selling videos of portrait demonstrations (oil) that were done at their yearly seminars.
Artists include John Sanden, David Leffel.

Thanks for the compliments, Margi. Offhand, I don't know of ones marketing a pastel landscape video. You could possibly check with publications like the Pastel Journal or International Pastel Artist Magazine. Also, the many pastel societies throughout the country. Ken.

Hey margi,
Margaret Evans has two very good learning videos out in pastel,Discovering Landscapes in Pastel and Discoverig Animals Figures etc. She has another called Lets Paint in pastel which I havnt yet seen.Barry Watkin is also a good teacher in pastel. A good book is by Lionel Aggett Book 1 for beginners and 2 for experienced painters.
The videos are available from Aussie Artist but the books would be through a shop.
The International Pastel Artist Magasine is superb if yo can afford another subscription.
