Hi painterdude.... I love this !!!! You have really captured the feel of the waves and the lighting is and highlights are just gorgeous!! You must be very proud of this... Waves are hard to do .. I have only tried about three times and they have never looked this good... Mind if I ask how long it took you on this and what size brushes you used ? Keep up the Great Work .. Im glad you decided to share it with us here in Acrylics I hope you will share more with us .... Have a Blessed Day

I am getting seasick looking at this :D This is really fabulous. One of the better seascapes I have seen in ages. That patch of sunlight at the front really adds to the feel and the effect of the tossing waves.

Oh, excellent. Ir's just like the sea, motion everywhere. Up, down, left, right, sideways, crossway, every-which-way. and the colors are dead on. I've going to have to quit looking. I spent a lot of time at sea in my younger days, and I'm begining to feel nostalgic. LOL

Superb seascape! I agree with Lary Carol, it makes me seasick looking at it! (that's a compliment). The colours in the water and sky are great.

Hey Dude,

Nice to see work from the "Rock". I moved away from Nf when I was 19 years old. I have been living in Ontario for 28 years. I started out doing all Newfie stuff and its been only the past 5 years or so that I started doing Ontario related subjects. I too have posted several painting in the marine section over the last couple years, but not much this year. I checked out your ship paintings . You do great work, very talented. I read you are painting full time now. Thats great news. This painting posted here is very well done. I have seen this wave action in my Newfoundland home town in Green Bay on the north east coast. I love the colors you used and the sky colors.

I just posted a painting in this acrylics section called "Sacrifices remembered"

Talk again!
