I thought I would introduce myself to this section as well, I'm an newbie and I work in acrylics so I'm sure this forum will be very handy! I'm Lauren, I paint women contemplating their lives and loves. (www.laurenperkins.com.au (http://www.laurenperkins.com.au))

Welcome to wetcanvas and the acrylic forum Lauren. I think you'll find the folks here at acrylics to be knowledgable and very helpful, I know I have. I really like your original style, and look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. It's nice to get good feedback on my work. I'm slowly getting used to this forum, it's a bit hard to follow at the moment with so much reading to catch up on but I could definately use tips on acrylic painting. I've only been using them for about a year or so, I was previously painting with oils, but have found I like the quick drying time of acrylic paints and it just seems to work for me better. Maybe because I am so impatient haha. :D
