i have posted this in the critique forum as well but thought i would give this spot a try...
mixed media: acrylics and glitter paint

the thing that i was not thoughtful enough about was composition. i tend to get really zenned out when i do art and i do not think in a critiquerly fashion as well in that state.

but it works for me here. Have you tried the textural acrylics, Liquitex I think...the ones you can apply with pastrybag shapy things?

I like the background, the glittery spotted ropes would work better without the "spraying" things on the ends, they distract from the continuity rather than add to it. glitter is wonderful stuff. I live in it.

I like the background but I'm not sure how well the swirl things fit on top of it.

Beautiful! I can understand your question about composition. What if there were only one spiral? I love your colour choices. Have you thought about using a texture medium?
