Love it Rita! Your work amazes me!

Congratulations, your work is wonderful!!! Do you work on Ersta sanded paper with an underpainting wash, I mean with turps or water? Is it only Smincke pastels since the beginning?
I really loved your composition and colors!!

I like to go directly to painting and don't do any preparation...I have been thinking for some time now about doing an underpaintings in oils with turpentine on Ersta paper...but never got around to doing it!!I am always in hurry to start and get right down to the juicy parts...don't want to lose steam with preparation, I guess....
I use mostly Shminke and sometime medium hard cheap pastels for the first few lines. Also I use vine charcoal for the preliminary drawing. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
