wow i thought it was digital, it reminds me of stained glass for some reason. :) i like it

i like every thing about this, the use of red really pulls the picture together. the colors have a feeling of being woven together. the green is also a color that seems to pull it all together. thanks for the opportunity to look at it.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your compliments. Colorme I believe it looks like stained glas because the glazing gives the color an almost glowing effect. I really enjoyed painting this piece.

I really like this piece and it does look like stained glass. I'm a real newbie to oil paints and wonder if you can explain the glazing technique or should I look elsewhere? The way you've done this it looks a lot like glazing one layer over another in watercolor.
