I painted this picture this morning about 2 hours. It is painted on a 18x20 canvas. It is from a photo taked by my son while on a road trip along the Northern California coast. Had fun doing it, but also somewhat stressful. Jan

I really like the detail in wave action in the water and the pink tones in the sky. I think putting a little more of the storm on the right edge would help though.

The sea under the storm just needs to be a little darker. This is fabulously ominous though

i agree with Dave... the greens of the sea merging into the blue are cool.

Carol You are right, It does need more darks in the area of the storm. I felt an imbalance in the painting, I thought it was in the clouds, but now i think it is in the water. thank you Jan
