I need to colour this in....help if poss

This sketch I did a while ago needs colour!
I want to use colour...watercolour...in a particular style
that I spotted in an art college.
It used vivid colours and fairly broad strokes..( It probably has a really obvious name!!)
It used innappropriate colours to shade and give depth to the subject. It was almost.... wait for it....rainbowic?
I would be grateful for any advice or tips....

Hey you're new too!
I don't know much about watercolor but I think your drawing might look good as an oil painting (maybe acrylic even) done a little in the manner of Wayne Thiebaud. He gets some bold strokes and a lot of really bold color. It might not be what you're into but when you said rainbowic that is what I thought. If you don't know his work you can see some on www.artchive.com. I think they have two figures on there. Just an idea. I saw one of his in a museum once and almost licked it. mmm, texture...
