I really love the compositional arrangement here, the way you've handled the flesh tones, the man's expression, which signals weariness to me or cautiousness but is definitely open to interpretation. I think you're doing a beautiful job so far.

An addendum about the flesh tones: my computer can alter colors quite a bit, but I'm getting almost a purplish tone to the man's face, especially in contrast with the very white hair.

there is so much about this to like.

if you are after crtis tho, i must say that the hand on our left is way too large. also the gaze of your subject is wonky - he is looking "out" with both eyes. ( very clever of him :p )

apart from these little nits, it is a marvellous painting.

I see the right hand seems too big, and I am guessing from reflections from the light is where the purplish color is coming from. I like the composition, one more thing, somethings seem a little off with the glasses. But hell, it I need glasses...so dont listen too me..lol You did a great job other than the little things I could see.

Joe, what is it about this one and the sleeping Ron that seems a bit different? A little warmer, friendlier, softer?
