Hi all

Seen the other sifi stuff so thought I would throw in my few cents worth

This was one of my early attempts at oil painting the subject was something I wanted to do, learnt a lot about dominant colours

really interesting painting. i like it. simplistic yet very interesting. i love the deep red in the background. one of those powerful colors that grabs ahold of you! i like how there is an intensity in all the colors in the picture. also, it's great how you've portrayed the city. very tasteful and not overdone. i find the boot a little odd as it sets off the balance of the painting slightly, but it's all good...keep up the great work

Thanks Giambologna

Yes I didn't want the city to be to busy and end up being the main focus from the rest rather it was part of the picture as a whole

did that make sence?

This is great Mark.
I love the perspective you have given the viewer.

Reminds me of something in a western where they put the camera down low near the cowboy's spurs.
