Tsk! I found exactly one (Westcliffe, CO) that's within reasonable reach for me (Telluride's as far as out of state from here) but the PRICE!!! Holey smoley! Think of all the pastels I could buy with $1500!!!

Thanks Jose! There is a workshop in Wimberly, which is, like, 14 miles (one red light) from me! Now am I good enough to be ready for one- in other words, to get enough out of it- my personal delima!

You should definitely check out the Wimberly think, purples! They have ads all the time, so there must be either a coop sort of gallery or something there that you might want to check out. They also sponsor workshops held in NM which are taught by Lorenzo Chavez!!! I'd LOVE to take a workshop from him!

Thanks for this great list. It makes me drool. How I would love to go to some of these places! Some of them (like the ones in New York) are not even that far. But I don't have the vacation time to spare from work. :(

But maybe some day, something to think about for a grand adventure.
