;) Hello,

What about opportunities for printmakers?
Here is one: the printmakers council (London, uk) organises an exhibition at the Guilhall Gallery, the Broadway, Winchester.
from 11-27 January 2002.
It might be too late for this show but they do organise regularly shows.
You may contact them on +44 (0)20 7250 1927

Good luck and do not hesitate to post more entries in this new thread with opportunities for printmakers.

Other UK stuff:

National Print Exhibition at the Mall Galleries (deadline just passed, about Jan 6 but it's annual)

Morley Gallery annual print exhibition for any printmaking, size 30cmx30cm, they frame, 5 per print, max 3, all accepted not juried.

There was also a small print exhibition this year which I think is annual, again took place in the autumn/winter. Plus almost ALL exhibitions accept printmaking as well as painting, unless it's strictly an "oil paintings" or "pastels" or something like that. Morley College, Camberwell College, CityLit, and Goldsmiths (I believe) all run excellent printmaking classes and some have advanced/open sessions too for using the press.

DEFINITELY keep an eye on the opportunities section in AN Magazine for this stuff. Most libraries have it too if you don't want to subscribe. :)

Tina.

I hear about these shows on printmaking sites I go to. They sound wonderful. Question is do they accept artists from other countries?
