Can we share stories in a thread?

Speaking for myself and anyone else on a distant shore, I found it really difficult to keep up with the chat rooms meetings but would still love to share stories. Sometimes I find I've just had a really great artist date, or a breakthrough with something creative, and just need to tell someone! You know, just have someone nodding at me even if they think I'm nuts. :D I worked through the book a few years ago but would love to get a bit more in practice, still doing artist dates and such but sporadically.

Anyone else just want to have a share/vent thread? The other artists around me don't seem quite so interested when I tell them how exciting it was to buy a pair of fuzzy pink socks. Heehee.

Maybe an ongoing thread for artist dates (could give others good ideas too) and one for breakthroughs?

Sure, you can share any of those thing here! :) There is already a 'sticky' post for The Artist's Date, (near the top) where lots of folks have shared their stories. I'll add another 'sticky' for breakthroughs. That's a great idea!

Yes! Please! Absolutely! That is what this forum is for! :) I haven't had time to do my artists dates in the last few weeks, and i ordinarilyALWAYS make time for them! I can feel myself getting a bit cranky over it too!

Please do share, Tina and anyone else who's interested in TAW. If you want a little more personal response, I, for one, would love to get a PM from anyone who's had a breakthrough or found a cool artist's date and I absolutely promise to respond!

Also, even if you can't make the TAW chats, come into chat any time you feel like and I'm sure everyone will be delighted to hear from you. It makes a break to discuss art in chat instead of food, movies, etc. :D

Oh, and Tina, you need some new friends if they don't "get" the thrill of fuzzy pink socks! lol
