Hope I'm not too late on this project. Just found it yesterday and started on this tonight. This is as far as I've gotten so far. It's a 9 x 12 oil on canvas paper. This is the project pic they are using.
I have a lot more to go yet

It's never too late for the portraiture art projects - they are all current.

This is a terrific start. :) Just watch the face isn't going to wide on the left side where her hand is.

Hello Sandy Good Wanted to try this. I noticed her face by her finger. SHould be easy to correct. Plus the iris is too small in that eye LOL Guess it's because the face is swollen? LOL The colors are better in a daylight pic

I fixed the eye in this pic But now for the cheek

Luvy,
I've been watching your progress and have to say you've come a long way in a short time!

This came out very nice...being that I can't do a portrait to save my life, I'll leave the comments to others.

Arlene you might not be able to do portraits but I sure love your flowers. I can't do those LOL Thanks for looking. I still need practice with colors in shadows. I just don't get that concept

Thanks FTB Hey just go for it. I found I like doing portraits and figures best now. Explore and have fun *S*

I redid the shadows and highlights in her hair. So here's a new photo

That is a good effort Luvy. Better than I did my first time.
