In the last Chinese Auction I won a few gifties from Maria and Kay.
Well not to long ago the package arrived, safe and sound and full of more things than I had won! It was a treasure trove of a box, but in that box was my first brass tool, other than my presses. It was a brass shaper tool for pushing and poking and dragging glass. Its an amazing piece of brass. It doesn't stick to my glass when I poke or drag. It pushes the glass right where I want it, and its not too big or bulky, it weighs a little more than a rod of glass and handles awesomely. I love this little tool. And I've only had a few chances to use it since I got it, but my chisels are going into the toolbox cause this baby is the BEST!

that is sweet of you to post on the main board! I'm glad you got such nice gifts. I recall your gift last time was a mind blower and this CA you have a really swell one too. You've given a lot to this community Sarah from Holland! (are you still in Holland?)

Hehe, I bumped all of my little dental pics ( except the freaky curved one ) into my drawer when I got my brass tool from Whimzi :D It is definately my most used, most loved tool.

I agree! It's the first tool I reach for when I am shaping glass and it's great for mashing dots! Whimzi rocks big time !! :)

Just wanted to brag on my tool again from Whimzi... I made two stars with it the other night and it worked like a charm. Didn't stick to my glass one time and I had to pull glass 24 times.
