I'm posting this to stay in touch, although I haven't spent too much time on new work this week.
Oils on 24 x 28 inch canvas.

Hi Bruce, I'd like to get my money back. I'm not holding out tremendous hopes, so I won't be disappointed, we'll see. The thing I like about people buying from me is the fact of acceptance more than making money.

I just cannot get the colour right in this photo whatever, even with a graduated mask. The mouth will be corrected.

Another Mikey special! How are the colours wrong in the picture?
Very interesting light and shadows. Sitting and watching this progress.

Here's another try. I've only put in some dark paint on the hair. I suspect that colour is too subtle for my camera. This is way too yellow in the early evening sunlight.

Hi Mikey...the colours in this version look more lifelike.......the definition of form on the left side of the bridge of the nose seems a little light to me...and I would feel tempted to highlight the tip (point)of her nose....just MHO.....I like the wistful expression in her eyes...or is it innocent?...
cheers kim

Hi Kim, I want to give the nose a better shape altogether. I've moved on with this a bit, but it isn't the kind of day for photos outdoors at all.
