working on a cinnamon teal drake ,lifesize,here is some pictures of the teal almost ready for painting,please reply good or bad,i know i can use critiquing,you have to excuse my spellin also,OOOOPS

hello nitsa,the head and wing tip is seperate,mostly one block of wood:>))))))

started painting on the cinnamon teal drake,underside of wing is done,just the base coat on the duck and some paint on top of wing,a ways to go yet,thanks,milford.:>)))))))))

Hi Milford....those colours on the wing are beautiful......lovely green....such detail in the carving......what type of paint are you using??

Thanx for explaining...It's coming along wonderfully.
Do you sell them as ornaments, artworks or pratical decoys....or all 3?
They must take forever to make. :eek:

hello nitsa,i sell them as all three,depends on the customer,i take orders on all types of birds and ducks,this duck will take about 100 hours to complete,thanks,milford.

some photos of the finished cinnamon teal drake,this is my first try at this type of pose,i have often seen a duck stretching it,s wing and foot at the same time,i,m not sure if i captured it?anyway,time to start another carving>:))))))))))),milford.
