I started this painting and it began to look like a woman and an owl. (attached image) Then one evening I had the painting sitting in the dark and it looked a bit like a scary man within the strokes... so I painted over it. I flipped the canvas and changed the entire composition to what you see. (attached) I have never created underwater themed art, but for some reason this is where this painting is going. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... fish are still in progress and not too sure about the lighting effect just yet.
