Organizing Tip

My friend Marilyn shared this tip with me recently.
Ever have problems keeping up with things in boxes, drawers, closed cabinets???
She lays things out so they can all be seen...takes a digital pic...prints it out and attaches it to the outside of boxes, drawers...etc. Great way to keep track of collage pieces, too (which I tuck away in boxes)

Thanks Carly!! I have a friend that has done this with her shoes...but she is the one that is absolutely the most organized person I know. She even has a book where she keeps a alphabetical list of each recipe that she has collected and used and where that recipe can be found in her collection of over 100 books organized in her pantry by author. She also rates the recipes!

I lable my boxes and little minature milk crates, but I never thought of taking pics. That is a good idea.

My sister became so annoyed with her husband putting the dishes in the wrong places when emptying the dishwasher that she did someting similar on her kitchen cupboards! I laughed sooo hard at that & this post made me laugh all over again! Thanks! It is a good idea though! especially for the small items that i don't want lying about! I ove these organization tips! Phyllis, I have a list of the best pizza places, the best take out bar-b-que, the best ice cream places, the best burger place, the quickest drive thrus....along with the best deli and the best desserts!
