Here's one I'm working on. Acrylics 3 1/2" x 5". I had once done this scene up large in watercolor. I was prompted to do this mini after paying $2.30 cents a gallon for gas the other day!! I liked the title. When I was a kid I remember asking for "$2 Worth of Regular"! C&Chttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/07-Apr-2005/28168-Two_Bucks_Worth_of_Regular.jpg

Hey, like what you have done here. It reminds me of those warm summer evenings waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when you went to get gas with your dad and he would buy you a bottle of coke out of the cooler. I remember asking for .50 once when I was driving someones beetle..I was desperate. lol

I love this one Bertoni. Good memories of the old days.
I paid $1.12 AUD per Litre for petrol (gas) yesterday when I went to the Service Station. I haven't got a conversion chart handy, so can't tell you how that compares to your price. It doesn't really matter whose price it is these days, it is just a criminal price to have to pay.

Just now spied your post!!!
Thank you so much for your encouraging words re: my miniatures. I sure do enjoy painting them. I find them fun to do and getting as much detail into them as possible is one of the things that drive me to paint them!!!
Won't abandon my larger work though!
