If anyone knows how to turn this image horizontal let me know how....its not supposed to be vertical.

You need to rotate the picture in your image editing software. If you don't have any, there are relevant threads in the computers forum.

hey kelly,

damn, I am not allowed to say something positive ;).

what can I say, its birds, the color is more "sophisticated" than your usual: ya mixed em more than usual (sort of), diff than usual, and mixed em well :D.

sorry, but I just dont have a gripe!

I thought it was a political statement when I first saw all those falling birds!

I love the shapes and colors - really nice. The rhythm of the heads is nice too.

kinda like the vertical orientation. Gives it an interesting tension.

Acrylic looks very opaque like tempera or guache. Mixing with something? Out of the tube? Maybe the particular brand? Just curious.

Hi Kelly:

I too liked the vertical orientation and your colors are great. I like to turn my paintings and look at them. Sometimes it causes you to start working in another direction on your painting.

Nice Work,

I think Im gonna start flipping all my paintings upside down and become a post modernist....

Thanks for all your comments....Mame, I paint straight out of the tube mostly and very fast...but in multiple steps til I get to something..(confused yet?)

I work the same way, except am currently dealing with tone/value relationships and mix color ON the canvas.

Well done, Kelly.

:) Hi Kelly, I like your painting, looking at it I thought that I might like to see the green touch the left edge in at least one area, or perhaps a continuation of the lines of the brown/red bird on the left. :)mjk

:D oops, the top line of the bird, not the lines. mjk
