I am not ready to get small brushes yet and there is nothing like pastel for the feel of fur.

I have so little time and feel like nobody remembers me here. Trying to earn a merit badge, I will try to keep coming back..
This was not the best paper choice.
I got a great sampler packet of watercolor papers. It looked nice and porous but when I started underpainting it laid on top and didn't rich up like I hoped.
AND somehow the surface got scarred. up there on the right..
Hoping it would fade when it dried, I totally forgot it.
Got all done, presented it to the client and ... is it me?... saw it again for the first time.
Funny what observation does. Looking too hard you can miss a lot.
Very light strokes was NOT my favorite for my hard sticks.
Learning experience.

Imperfections aside, it rules. Seriously. You did a great job on the fur -- I can visualize the soft fuzzy being easily. More! :)

Oh, how could we forget you!! ;)

I know what you mean about pastels and fur. I only use pastels for my animals.
Great job on the puss-cat. Almost made me sneeze! (I'm allergic)
