Anybody got any experience with recommendations for paper for use with solvent based markers. I know they make special paper for it, but I was wondering if anyone had tried anything else like bristol board.

Thanks in advance!

I've used markers on all types of papers. Hot press bristol board gives the most crisp results, and the softer the paper, the more the markers will bleed. You can usually order small samplers of paper from art supply catalogs, and they are helpful to play around with in any medium so you can get a feel for different methods and results.
