I lapsed into a sculpey fit.... :D

These are 2 to 5 1/2" at the major measurement of each piece.

Thanks for looking.

What fun! Some of those would make great models for 3D animation. I like the green guy, the purple bunny and the worm/snake thing in a shoe best of all. :)

Lady Rando, kazzi & Bertoni:

Thanks for the kind comments.

Funny you should mention 3D animation, I was into 3D computer animation for several years until it took it's toll on my wrists, I miss animating sometimes.

As far as inspiration, I have a rough idea of what I want to do when I start and just kind of let it unfold like doing a painting in the sense that you go where it takes you in the end. For instance the worm-shoe guy started out as the idea of doing a cyclops character, so I made an armature, put an eye at the top and then realized he needed a shoe. The last character I knew would be somewhat like an insect with wings or something, and that it would have clothes, the armature looked very similar to the final piece after I wrapped it and built it up with tin foil, there is not a whole lot of sculpy on it, very thin layers in places.

Love the pearls - hope mine look that good on me. Do I see lipstick on her?

More please!

This one was difficult to photograph it is translucent sculpey, and doesn't show much detail. I burnt it in the oven a little and it cracked bad in 3 places, I thought I ruined it, but I learned what not to do. :D

I think these are great - gave me a laugh (thought the first was a portrait of someone I knew!!!).

We've just started a new series of Doctor Who here - maybe you should enter some of your aliens to fight him!!!!

Great Rich :D
