This is interesting, leaflin. I have found little tricks for registration that have made life easier for me when printing. I have never worked more than two plates though in a piece. With intaglio I never work with more than one plate for some reason. I suppose it is because I can map my progression by pulling a print or two after each step. Wood block I have used two plates, and linoleum I do the reduction technique. It is interesting how you used the three wood cuts to print your pieces out. Did you have trouble with registration? Were the edges of your paper deckled?

Thanks Sass
The registration.....
If I remember correctly I made a frame out of 1"x2"s and nailed it to a piece of plywood the size of the woodcuts.
I marked each piece of wood to the exact location it needed to be inside the frame and positioned it for each pull.
My paper was secured at the top of the frame with thumb tacs :o
I thought it was ingenious at the time but when I demonstrated my "technique" to the professor she was not pleased :)

I would love to hear some of you tricks.

Thank you colorme, ZOTMA and Gisela :)
