Sure Dima, and welcome to our little tole forum.
Quite simply, Tole is Decorative painting made with a set of Brushstokes that accomplish a patterned way of painting such as flowers, snowmen etc using a variety of other objects to paint with too and Acrylic paint is used mostly. For example, many people would use the same brushstrokes with which to make different flowers.
Tole is techniques used to paint designs on wood, tin, furniture, walls, canvas, you name it. Sometimes patterns are used also.
Also is a form of Folk art.
Does that help?

Thank you Tammy and yes I see what it would be like.
In Holland it would be referred to as folk-art or farmers-art or it goes by the name of a certain town where a particular style had developed.
