Join our host julsiebear for this week's WDE. Here is her invitation:

Once the pictures are uploaded on Friday Feb. 18, You have 30 minutes to make your selection and choose your materials. Then for the next two hours, just go for it!

Use any medium or style – it’s up to you……then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in a new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.

Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Monday.

It’s fun to all participate at the same time but not always possible! Please join in whenever you can – you have a whole week!

After posting your contribution, please view others’ entries and comment and encourage. Unless specifically requested by the artist, please refrain from critiquing.

Most importantly.. have fun! Experiment! Make happy mistakes!
See you there!

Sorry- world clock has the right time, wrong day. It should read Friday, not Saturday.

Hi WARHEAD,
I am doing the weekend drawing event (WDE) for the first time myself. Here is a link to the guidelines page for the WDE.

http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241482

And this is where you can find info:
WetCanvas! > The Town Center > All Media Art Events
Wde Participant Guidelines 2005

I don't think anyone noticed your questions yet, I think they post this annoucement here and then everyone tends to look at the All Media Events page after that. The way I understand it is that everyone starts the same time, and posts a progress pic after 2 hours. There are some sticky links at the top of the All Media Events forum for info also. You might want to post your question in All Media Events, I think you will get lots of help there.

Anyone got better directions?
