Here is a still life of an old building downtown Folsom where the gallery is I go too. It has a bit of old personality and the light coming through the far door is neat.

C&C please.

I like this, and especially the light coming from the far door. There is a lot of character in the picture.

I like the feeling of light coming in through the door and the way you've put the paint down...is it the brushstrokes or pallette knife? The painting has a lot of style going for it!! Maybe check the perspective on the door on the right side?? :)

Wow, really like the way you applied the paint to the canvas and also agree that the light shinning through the door is very striking. The contrast in this piece is wonderful and your placement of colors also makes this piece a great success! Yippie!!!! Excellent Work!!!

Hello all, been so busy and painting a lot outdoors. This is 3 1/2 x 5 oil on masonite. This is the iron door too the new restaurant and the other door is the door too the gallery and studio where I paint and work.

Thanks for the comments. The light is the neatest part too see. I am going to try this on a larger board.
