what colors for eggs yolks?

i am represenyting a non chicken embryo however and my question is this: for the yellow i was thinking i could get that albuminaic color with cadmium yellow dark toned down by either one of the magentas or one of the violets, (like violet rose)
is there another combination i could consider?
equally, how would i follow in making the red? what should i mix

(meaning the last good embryo i saw that i liked had just a bit of the yellow color in the red and just a bit of the red color in the yellow)

any ideas?

The predominant colors surrounding the yolk will dramatically influence the color of the yolk. Without knowing what they are is hard to suggest possibilities.

unless the yokes i see are different from the ones fresh off the farm,,,,,,,yolks look orangy-yellow.

but unless you're sooo off, that people think you're from another planet, i don't think it matters. i'd start with an orange and lighten up from there.....{M}

I would suggest cad yellow deep.
