This is about 3.5 x 5, acrylic on 140# Winsor Newton watercolor paper:

There are 14 palm trees in the line :p Not sure I'm finished, so not yet framed.
C&C appreciated.

They look like they could use some more darks, other than that they look fine. Composition looks fine. Lori

Thank you, Lori.
I only have time to paint on weekends, so I will work on this a bit more and post the progress.
I appreciate your input!

I can feel that breeze! Agree with Lori about the darks, and perhaps a bit more sky color? Of course with a digital image it's hard to know; the paintings never look the same as in real life, and all our monitors are different!

Wonderful work..and such a small space to do all that detail in. You've really captured the palms. Good work!

This is very nice. What a difference those darks made. I love the composition, it not only conveys the movement well, but really accents the height of the palms.
I am also enjoying this piece as it's a little preview for me. I'm heading to warmer climes for a little R&R in a few weeks. This gets me anxious. Thanks.

Thank you, Minibrush!
When we lived in South Texas, I shot lots of pics of palms, and I can understand wanting to get to a warmer clime for R&R!
