This was done in a scribble technique I learned in a rapid drawing class. it took about 15 min.

WOW! 15 min? I use this technique from time to time also, but it takes me longer to get results like this. She has a very warm inviting look about her. You captured a wonderful expression on her face. I particularly like the way you did her mouth. I'm impressed :clap:

I am in awe that it only took you 15 minutes !

Have you entered it in the 'old peoples' art project ? (I can't remember the exact title of the project - a sign of age :D ). It would be a great addition to the project.

I've never heard of the scribble technique; are there any books on it that you know of ?

Really like your "scribble" ink drawing!! It looks like someone has surprised poor old "Granny" :cat: You have captured a GREAT facial expression!! Very nice use of values too!! Please do more and post them :cool:

The squiggle technique really brings home the wrinkly texture of the skin in the cheeks.

Great work and great choice in techniques for the subject.

This is incredible. Hope I could draw like this. Agree with all the others, you captured very well her expression and, man, you are crazy!!! 15 minutes??? :eek: OMG!!!:eek:
