MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I know the left eye is all out of whack, but what about the rest. I'm too close to it.......

Hello, sniktaw! I have a name real similar to yours. :wink2:

I love this! It's fresh, with clean lines and an unusual perspective. The paint splatters on his shirt are a nice touch. I also like the way it's cropped. Any chance of seeing others in the series?

I like it

You captured him well....

I think the rest is excellent, in proportion and well done

Obviously, his eyes are very important to you and to describing him in this painting. Altho' stylized and over large, they truly are his eyes. You've done a super job on this portrait! The foreshortening is really good and the only thing I'd suggest would be to bring his hair down on his forehead a bit.

Otherwise, YAY! Love this!

Hey This is is really cool, I remember your other one of a friend at the bar. I like this, very stylized.
sorry, but The only thing that bothers me for poor Chad is his hair line on the top...Looks like an implant. He has much nicer hair then that. ;)

this is striking and very emotive. i kind of wish i didn't see the original photo though (dunno why, perhaps because my imagination would run freer). something about the huge innocent eyes that look like they take in everything (kind of like a child at 2 y-o that just imbibes everything and you hear them say something and you go "where did you get that from?") contrasted with the cigarette and the beer bottle. great work. would love to see more.
