Medium: watercolour on vellum finish paper

Size: 22.9cm x 30.5 cm


I asked a friend of mine and she seems to think that this looks finished. I, however, am not so sure. Any input is greatly appreciated as this is my first watercolour since picking my art back up in Novemeber. I took a picture off a calendar for inspiration.

Although the image shown is very small it looks finished to me.

I would agree that this looks finished. I like variations of color in the water and the reflection! :wave:

Gilberte: Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, I had trouble getting a decent sized image to upload. I was aiming to capture a sweet and serene feeling when I did this particular piece.

VanArt: Thank you for your compliments on the colour variation in the water and the reflection.


Off to sign the piece and then post it in the open critique forum.
